Our Policies

At High Peaks Animal Hospital, we prioritize the safety of our patients, clients, and staff. Due to this we have developed policies in order to ensure that not only is your patient safe, but their care is prioritized.

  1. We require all New Clients to fill out a New Client Registration Form in order to ensure that we have accurate information for both you and your pet. We also require that all New Clients submit a non-refundable scheduling fee while scheduling their first appointment, this fee goes towards the first visit. The New Client Registration Form goes into more detail about our policies and is attached below.
  2. High Peaks Animal Hospital is proud to be a practicing rural clinic; due to our location and resources we ask that our clients respect our time as we respect theirs. We ask that if you find the need to cancel your appointment you do so before 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel within the 24 hours you will be charged a late cancellation fee. Please note that if you call after hours your cancellation will not be considered until normal business hours resume.
  3. We are a Rabies Vaccination requirement facility. In the state of Colorado, it is required to vaccinate your pet against rabies according to the Colorado Revised Statues 25-4-607. This is not only to ensure the safety of you and your pet, but also our staff members and other patients.
